My family eats like any other family I suppose. My mom makes food, people eat it once they get around to it. We rarely have sit down dinners anymore, other then for special occasions, birthdays, holidays, etc. etc. For special occasions, or sometimes on regular days, we have galubsi, which are cabbage rolls, or borscht, which is a kind of soup, or other Russian foods, because that is where my family is originally from. These foods seem to be very traditional Russian things to eat. My family doesn't eat too much fast food, not nearly as much as other people that I know, which doesn't really fit into the whole American traditional McMeal epidemic.
When my family does have family dinners, it's a really good bonding experience and family dinners should probably happen more often, for all families. Food is sort of something that brings everyone together, because everyone eats it, so people can relate through food.
